HD Videoscope with Omnidirectional Tip Articulation is one of the most affordable and versatile video borescopes of this type you can get in the market these days.
It allows access to the tiniest places without compromising image quality with a small diameter of the probe available of 2.2mm (other available diameter are 2.8mm, 3.9mm and 6.0mm). The videoscope is ideal for accessing and inspecting parts with very small openings, molds, castings, etc.
The videoscope features 720P super HD camera chip with 1Mpix image resolution (for 3.9mm probes and up).
Available in 3.2ft. - 19.7ft. (1.0 meter - 6.0 meter) lengths, the tungsten braided insertion probes are water- and oil-proof.
The navigation of the probe, image capture, adjusting light intensity – all these operations are made easy by means of a direct response joystick and control buttons, conveniently located right under your thumb.
Compact pistol grip design and extremely light weight enable convenient one hand operation. Besides, the videoscope runs on a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, which means you can take it with you to any site and not worry about power supply.
The system features an integrated 3.5" colour TFT LCD display allowing for viewing inspection images right on site, or you can capture images, record video files to a microSD card for future reference.
Among enhanced characteristics is a removable tray with magnet, protecting the scope from physical damage and allowing for placing it on different surfaces.

What is the distance the snake scope can view from (i.e. from the camera end, how far away can a view an item)?

is the camera water resistant because i will be using it on sewer pipes most of the time

Hi Eason,
This snake scope is not the best choice for sewer pipes inspection.
It is not IP68 waterproof.
For sewer inspection we recommend sewer cameras like Viper, TRITON, Anaconda.

In the specs it states that this is splash proof. Is the head and cable water proof so it can used for plumbing aspects and the screen splash proof? or is the hole set up splash proof?

Only the insertion probe is waterproof (IP67). It means the monitor itself can not be submersed.
